All churches in the benefice of are committed to safeguarding children, young people, and adults with care and support needs.

One way we aim to create a safe environment is to ensure the right safeguarding checks and training recommended by the Diocese of St Albans are in place for leaders and those involved in the running of the church. We also hope that we are open to hearing and noticing when something is wrong, and taking the right action to help to find the right support where it is wanted or needed.
